THE fan club [Jan. 9th, 2004|11:26 am]
Ms. Jenkins Fans

I am a huge fan of the Jenkins fan club. However, I believe that THE fan club should be reserved for current and former members of Jenkins class only. If non-Jenkins students (IE people who suck ass) use the club, it will cheapen the expierence and the monument we are trying to erect in Jenkins honor.

Should non-Jenkins students wish to join the club we propose that they go through a strict screening process. There will be recommendations, an interview with Jenkins, and a timed essay for the reasons that you wish to be a member of the fan club.

Jenkins [Jan. 8th, 2004|03:32 pm]

As a Jenkins alumnus, how much jenkins rocks and how damn cool she is has only been "foiled" (a word she abhors) by college professors. I would take organic chemistry if she taught it at college. I learned more in her class than I am now. I would like to reiterate that Jenkins rocks, and that you current lincolnites are lucky to have so many cool teachers (if only there was a good math teacher). As soon as this winter wonderland melts away, I will visit Lincoln and Jenkins, and I am really excited to be one of those college students who are always coming back. Okay, maybe I won't become one of those who are ALWAYS coming back, but I'm stoked to see Jenkins and the others again.

p.s. I'm sorry to hear about the new schedule- that really bites!

p.p.s. If any of you are stressing about IB- STOP IT!!! IB doesn't matter in the long run (or for that matter the short run). Sit back, relax and listen to Jenkins talk about sex... err... I mean... literature.

I don't know if any of you have noticed, but this is the second time I've taken the liberty to join the fan club of an English teacher who I have never had. But in this case, I most likely will have her in the future. Here are two more reasons why Ms. Jenkins is awesome:

One time last year, Ms. Jenkins made me a bag of cookies for helping with Polyglot on a Saturday. I found that extremely cool. And delicious. It was also the first time I actually talked to her, so it was a good first impression. Not that you could get a bad first impression of Ms. Jenkins.

Also, on the last day of school before break, two of her classes came into two of my classes to carol. That made everyone happy, and I think we can attribute that to Ms. Jenkins herself.

There you go. Have a good ice day.
